Bad Reception
Aug. 8th, 2005 12:12 amI have really bad reception here at the house on my mobile and for whatever reason it is much better in the Castro on Sprint. So my plan is if anyone calls I am going to walk over the hill if I can.
Also I've been thinking. I think possibly it would be a cool thing to explore the bay area every Sunday. Would anyone else reading this in the bay area care to go on expeditions each Sunday starting with a 9am breakfast and then using BART and other moderately inexpensive transit options to explore one stop a week? I mean there is all this stuff in the area, exciting fun stuff to do and see and I'll bet most people who live here tend not to get out and do it. And while I'm probably going to do this alone if no one wants to come with me it would be cool to have other people along for the ride.
I'm thinking I'll go to the Golden Gate and Marin next Sunday. Unless I think of something better before then.

3: It is still tourist season
4: That would take the car and we are tight on gas this week.
Do you like museums?

Date: 2005-08-09 12:22 am (UTC)"New for the 2005 summer season -- public transportation (Muir Woods Shuttle – Golden Gate Transit – Route #66) will serve the park on weekends and holidays only between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The service will be offered for FREE and operate every 30 minutes through most of the day. The service will not operate Monday-Friday. Timed transfer connections between the Route 66 shuttle with Golden Gate Transit Routes 70/80 from San Francisco and Routes 10/22 from Sausalito are built into the schedule. Regular transit fares apply for Routes 70/80 and 10/22."
I'll pester them about this if you want to go. And I don't think it is terribly hot out up here so I suspect it would not be hot in the Muir Woods.
