Oil Conflict
Jun. 8th, 2005 11:26 amWell here it is Wednesday. Yesterday had a number of misadventures. First off I went to town to get passes for a showing of Howl's Moving Castle. I had a suspicion they would be gone by the time I got there, but I went anyway. Double foolish I went with my sister. My sister might be a perfectly reasonable human being, but whenever I spend time with her I am reminded that we have too much history to get along for any length of time. Or else just such conflicting personalities that if we met for the first time we'd probably be glaring at each other inside thirty minutes.
We did manage not to get into a conflict until we got home. Then it was over her ripping my CDs and acting like she was doing me a favor to return them. It's like my childhood never ended, I've got to get out of this house.
Off to get an oil filter and do work on my car.

Date: 2005-06-09 03:21 am (UTC)my older (but youngest of our clan) sister was a reasonable human being as well, until she became a mom. then she, well, turned into our mother. i'm sure she has some point of reference regarding me as well, though, to determine when i went from being her adorable baby brother to being an argumentative sibling.
as for our history...we're only a year apart in age, and we shared a bedroom (bunk beds!) until we were about 11 and 12...in the throes of puberty...that's enough to ruin any semblance of a healthy relationship, no?
