Self, repeat after me, "Don't get your hopes up, don't get your hopes, up." Don't start thinking that could be a really good Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That new trailer looks good though... NO! Must not get my hopes up.

On the other hand thanks for the warning about the Dukes of Hazard. Not that I thought that it could be a good movie, but the trailer totally confirms that it will be one of the worst movies of the year and worth a miss. All the stupidity of the premise and none of the innocent charm. Plus plenty of softcore titty and ass shots for the straight guys who can't afford strip joints.

It can never be as scary as the Swedish "animated" version, which is basically just the book being read to the illustrations. Ernst-Hugo Järegård, who was the sole voice actor and struck terror into my young heart, is dead.
