Avoided that Mistake

My habit of websearching for reviews on websites before creating an account/paying for items is one of the best ones I have acquired. Tonight I was briefly tempted to create a profile at Geek to Geek (www.gk2gk.com) which bills it self as by geeks for geeks. Fortunately I searched first and found this review which was higher up the google ranking that the website itself. That plus a lot of other negative reviews kept me from paying out money or giving away my information to this fly by night outfit.

I must not get too smug, though, smugness proceeds falling for a scam.

Kale, From My Garden!

Despite it being a week from Christmas I just harvested a huge amount of kale from my garden and put it into a soup. The soup did not turn out too bad, though the yellow beans are a bit underdone. Perhaps I should have chucked them in the slow cooker in the morning to get them soft before introducing them to the broth. Ah well. Still very tasty.

But still, fresh greens from my garden in December! This is a strange year.
