Fence Posts and Logs

Today I reset or erected six fence posts and then put up various sorts of wire on them to keep deer from casually munching on some trees and bushes. I also hauled up some of the wood that was felled yesterday, dug up rocks from what will be a flowerbed, and took my shirt off for a little while to even out my unintentional tan. (I've been putting on sunblock when I go out, but I'm still a bit tan on my face and arms and that looks goofy.) All this is a lot more work than it sounds like and now I'm quite tired out. I'm going to make some dinner, call friends, and not even think about how damn much wood there is left to haul all the way up the hill to the house.

Unknown ID, Unable to Hear

Someone called me earlier this evening. Unfortunately there was no phone number for me to try calling back and I didn't hear anything when I picked up. This is why I prefer landlines over mobile phones. Even if I don't get a caller ID there is almost never the problem of phone call that almost connects, but not quite.
