I have taken a look at my income projections (I once was training to be an accountant) and right now it looks like I've spent the last of the mad money over this past weekend. But I am determined to have a good attitude about it, a Russian one. Cynical, but cheerful. "Yes we're probably going to die here comrade, but look at this nice vodka I liberated for tonight!"
And I'm going to continue with my pointless stories, which I love to tell.
Today I was very happy to find two excellent movies at the library (free entertainment!), K-19 and They Might Be Giants. The first will put me in a good mood because I'm weird and I love sad, sad stories about heroism and death. The second will put me in an even better mood since it's about imagination and refusing to let reality stand in the way of dreaming.
Speaking of which, I think I should create myself as the Minister of Memory and Culture. I could go around in my spare time telling outrageous lies... er tales about the history of Denver and generally being a tour guide. I might be able to pick up some spare cash doing this.
