Phones Ringing and Wine Calling

gerisullivan this evening before running off to the DASFA Christmas party. It was fun and interesting before one of the building's rug rats managed to cut the power for a moment by pulling on the outside cut off switch. If I figure out which one I'll threaten him with unspecified doom (much worse than specific doom). But it was a very good phone conversation. More fun than even chatting with gay guys online.
The DASFA party was a nice excuse to drink wine and eat cheese. I got in some good time talking about cameras and Russian mythology, though not at the same time. I also avoided making a scene or getting deeply involved talking politics. I also kept out of a religion discussion I heard happening in another room. Not that I'm any more mature, I just didn't feel like joining in the verbal combat.
I will explain about my adventure after locking myself out some other time. (I was such an idiot.)
