mishalakI arrived late, but that was just as well since as I went walking down the sidewalk I saw Jane leaving. I had forgotten that she would be there. I should make a contingency plan in case she's going to go to Freehold Christmas. I would have been very uncomfortable seeing her there.
The party was nice. Plenty of good food including very nice baked Brie. The cranberry version came out very well. I might do that for myself sometime if I can think of an occasion where I'd eat that much Brie at once. Part of the advantage of being a social person is the preparation of foods that are too much for one. But given my feelings after the party I think I shall sneak away after Freehold and not be seen again.
There are lots of people at these events and my talking is always an intrusion. Not many people that I actually like. Rose, Dave, John, Tammy, Tim, and Kaia. But the last three were not there at all and John was gone by the time I got there at 7:20, and it is hard to talk to Dave with that many people around. Rose wasn't exactly easy to talk to either being all hostess type person. Still good food and Dave Wilson brought wine. Plus the rum balls and cheesecake were good.
I really don't care for hanging out with people. That's me being all self centered, but I don't care what other people think. I am not going to do anything that does not make me happy. I may take a two-hour nap now. I feel like I need it.
