mishalakWell I was lucky enough to turn on the telly just as the white smoke started coming out. Rather intriguing.
Edit: And it is Joseph Ratzinger. I actually hoped he would be elected. He doesn't have the charisma of John Paul II and so Benedict the XVI, as he will be known, will do much to reduce the power and influence of the Roman Catholic Church in the civilized world while not giving it the boost in the third world that a pope from there might have given them.
