They cannot break their word in any thing great or small with anyone who does not break work with them. They many not harm guests in their home, wherever that may be, and they will offer hospitality to any who treats them with respect and follows the rules. Any theft, any hurt, any disrespect, any outright untruth breaks the bond of hospitality. They must return a gift for a gift freely given. They may come and go as they please, no lock or door will bar their way, but cannot harm anyone who remains silent as they go about their business. If anyone asks for their help then that person is theirs to call upon until the debt is released. Never go into their places without observing their rules or carrying with you a talisman of the faith. Know their marks, the taduz, the lighted skull, to know where they claim as their own.

Dude. That's a perfect little flash fiction right there. Do you know flashquake (http://www.flashquake.org/)? You could consider submitting it there.
