The water in my tub was the pale green of dissolved copper against the pitted white enamel of the tub. I dipped my sore foot into the hot water to test it. Too hot so I started the process of dipping and adding cold water until I could at last get in. I flexed the arch of my foot a few times like a ballet dancer trying to get whatever deeply buried joint that was causing me trouble to behave. Finally I lay down in the water trying to get as much of my body into the almost uncomfortable heat. It was perfect.
Lying there I had very few cares until at last I was sleepy and lethargic. Then I rose up slowly with the water dripping as cool air. That felt wonderful as well after so long simmering. A short cool shower later and I was clean from head to toes and ready to go check upon my baked beans.

*catches breath* I do apologize if this is Too Much Information. <G> Like I said - I'm desperately jealous of able-bodied people right now.
