Well, the thing is that pretty much everyone on MileHiCon would run screaming at the idea of bidding for Worldcon. I'd probably run a bit slower than the rest and get caught because I don't have enough common sense. I just don't know many people who have experience who are also willing to help with a bid.
I suppose that ConJose did have people walking a bit, I myself was in the Fairmount and so only had to walk about a block. Certainly it isn't a deal breaker and with the new tram line the really thrifty people from out of town could stay down at cheaper hotels like the Hampton Marriott.
So do you know of any fans that are willing to get experience and are interested in bidding?
