Making Do With Less

mishalakSo today I spotted another expense on the horizon. I was warned by a website that my version of Firefox was no longer supported and, "What the heck are you doing on such an outdated version anyway?," or words to that effect. This caused me to update to Firefox 12.0... so far so good on that. However in reading up on this I found that it is less than two years before Microsoft drops support for XP, finally and for good. So I will need a new computer before then. Saving an extra $100 a month for a while will get me there in time and undoubtedly I will be happy with my new computer, but... There is always another expense coming over the horizon like some sort of horrible enemy cavalry.
When it comes right down to it I need to earn more money. Just an extra $230 a month would give me room to move around. Or at the very least put me back where I was three years ago.
