Forget the latest installment in the Batman franchise. If you want to go see a good movie go see Howl's Moving Castle. This isn't exactly a review because I didn't feel like doing one immediately after coming out of the movie and by now I don't know that I could do a fair one, but it is good. Provided you won't be annoyed by the usual Miyazaki obsessions (the girl about 17, the little cute boy about 10, sluggy things, the blowing away feathers trick, etc.) you will enjoy it. The movie is a bit darker and a lot more anti-war than the book. More to the point it won't be here long so if you want to see it in the theater you should move fast, AMC Highlands Ranch or the Mayan.

Barb & J.C. Hendee, authors of a vampire series, are reading at DASFA tonight. 1111 S. Washington in the Wild Oats community room starting between 7:30 and 8pm. If readings are you thing.

And I, I don't know that I'll go into town tonight or not. I could just stay home and watch Richard III at 8pm on PBS channel 6.
