Second Day of Birthday Observations

And on the second day all my plans went kablooie. The day started with injuring my wrist while scaring off a woodpecker that was using my house as a sounding board at six in the morning. Items were broken in the course of trying to get to work and work itself was rather frustrating. I also had something in my eye that would not dislodge for most of the day. When I got home I finally filed my taxes paying a total of $142.00. *sigh* Now I want a beer, but really it is too late. I was going to go out for ice cream tomorrow to observe my birthday with friends, but the forecast is for rain. This has been a very difficult day.
