Waxing Moon, Mishalak's Dream of Beauty

People who have met me in real life know that I wear jewelry and that I make most of the necklaces that I wear. So I thought I would start sharing pictures of the necklaces that I have in my collection or that I am working on. Right now I have a the stopgap measure of using my old livejournal account for hosting the pictures, but in a week or two I shall pick a photo hosting site. If anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them.

The above cut has a little 256x256 picture under it. Were I ambitious I would create a larger version to link to as well. When I name my necklaces it is with with mental concepts rather than with actual words. Translating from the mental concept to words gives me something like "The Archimedian Troika", but that is far from precise. It is made of 10mm iron pyrite spheres and 6mm hematite discs with two little hematite beads next to the clasps. It shows the symmetry of threes that I like and the colors that I think are very masculine. I love how iron pyrite shines like well worn brass.

There are currently 27 other necklaces in my collection that I made and a number of others that I am working on completing to my satisfaction. And I also have some hatbands that I made.
