mishalak: A fantasy version of myself drawn by Sue Mason (Distant)
As of this moment the sun is halfway hidden behind the 11 story building directly to the west of my window. I have been watching the slow but inexorable progress of the sun's light on my venetian blinds for a little while while writing. It is hard to gauge the exact movement since the shadow cast is not particularly sharp, what with the distances involved. But it only takes seconds to realize that the earth is turning and the shadows are growing.

And here I am wondering what I'm going to do about my next phone. Does anyone know of a good mobile phone that is just a phone? I don't want a camera, bluetooth, internet browsing, nothing. Well I'll put up with the camera since I do not HAVE to use it, but I don't want it. I just want a phone that is a phone. No confusing features that I'll never use.

Oh, and especially no TEXT messages. NONE. I want to be able to turn the feature off completely and permanently. I hate text messages.
