The Snow in Boudreaux falls and Blows

It is snowing today. On Wednesday it was 28C (82F) here, that's Colorado in spring. I think after this storm we could plant stuff if we want so I'll have to do some weeding after the snow melts. I've decided to not go to town this weekend, I wouldn't be much fun. I think I'll play with my camera again for a while.

Bake at 325ºF (~162ºC) for about 15 minutes
You will also need some sort of cut design rolling pin or board to make them look right.

5 eggs, unbeaten (the recipe originally called for 4)
4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
Grated rind of 1½ lemons (2½ Tablespoons)
4½ cups sifted cake flower
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons anise seeds
½ tablespoon oil (or margarine was added to soften the cookies slightly)

Life's a Show and We All Play Our Parts

I've made up my mind that I won't be going to town this weekend. I don't feel like going, I don't feel like prodding the Merry Gang into showing up, and I'm going to spend the weekend in bed with a John M. Ford story collection. I don't know about the whole gay geeks thing. As usual with my plan I haven't got it thought out. I suppose I wanted to make some friends, foolish me to think that I could get any of them to show up or even to say when they could show up. Fuck it.
