Burritos in the Castro
Sep. 7th, 2005 08:02 pmI am very late in recording the details of my weekend. I have no useful excuses for this. I went out Friday night with my impending move a very little on my mind. Mostly I was unsure of what to have for dinner after having, again, spent far too much time in my office messing about on the computer. After being indecisive for like a quarter hour I eventually went across the street to the uncreative named La Tortilla for a burrito. I had chicken, "azteca" style. Not particularly good, but not downright horrible either. The hot sauce covered up the otherwise blandness of the item though it did not manage to cover up that some of the meat was crunchy/hard on the outside. Also I found a bit of bone. It was not expensive, but that is all it was. Total cost $6.73, which I remember because I had exactly that amount of change. Next it was off to Harvey's for a drink after some more indecisciveness about if I wanted one or not. I ended up having a Fat Tire Amber then it was off to crash on the living room floor for one last night. Fin Friday.
