mishalak: A fantasy version of myself drawn by Sue Mason (Beautiful Dreamer)
In high school a teacher called me a mercurial, Machiavellian, madman. Just a random anecdote before I being to explain.

Technically I'm not a night or morning person. I wake up approximately eight hours after I go to sleep unless I’m terribly uncomfortable or something. I don't even really need an alarm clock and as long as I'm slightly motivated I'll even get up.

But it seems about perfect to me to go to bed at 2am and awaken at 10 in the morning. The only trouble comes in not wanting to stop reading a story or otherwise getting distracted from what I should do. I don't have any major problems with not being able to get up for, say, a job. I just sometimes lack the proper motivation to go to bed on time. "Have I made it clear that your job is on the line here?" The threat of losing a job I dislike isn't a great motivation for me. I wish that I'd had a job I was in love with, or at least didn't have me being unhappy with, but it has not happened yet.

And really if I could find a job that would work better with when I want to sleep and be up that would work out better. Though I'm not about to take a major pay cut to get it.

Back to the start.
