Yes, I will have to specify home made or have people who cannot (will not) contract with me. Freezing the cookies is a good idea, though I think a marathon of baking on the 19th or 12th of October would still leave the cookies very fresh on the 24th. I figure I'll use my parent's house, they have a mixer. I might even be able to drag a helper along with me to do the baking.
I just wish there were something as easy and a bit healthy. I don't want our sponsorship to try to be everything, concentrating on one thing is best, but cons are overloaded with sugar and I would like an alternative at times. But I would like something easy that I could bake for my party on Saturday. Right now I'm thinking I'll do hard-boiled eggs. They take work, but I can buy 18 for about $2 IIRC. I'll do 36, some colored, some not, and lay them out with salt and mustard I think. Maybe some horseradish dip too.
