Cynical Personality Test

The Lipson-Shiu Corporate Type Test linked by my frood dougs is marvelously cynical commentary on corporate life and personality tests. When thinking about fandom (rather than my actual job situation) I came out as a ILIG (Archangel).

"The ILIG is the ideal person to be in charge of anything: trustworthy, effective and devoted to the cause. Unfortunately, none have yet been found. If the test evaluated you as this you are probably an ILIE or ILUE (and covering it well) or a SCUG or SCUE (and not safe to be typing on anything electrical)."

Though naturally I really am a ILIG and not a ILIE.

I'm a ILUG (Mensch). Well, on days when I actually *work*, instead of LJ compulsively.

Well if I answer as to what I do at work then I come out the same. Which I think says something about my self image. I've never thought of myself as being one of the super competent types, but the longer I'm in the workforce the more I realize that I actually do better than 90% of the people at work. I don't make trouble, if I'm upset it turns into internal seething or private words, and I work hard. Give me a job where I would be enthusiastic about showing up and I'd show the world an almost scarily dedicated employee.

ICUG (Inventor)
The ICUG is given to solitude and shoe staring. He or she loves little puzzles and is often a good source of off-the-wall, innovative ideas. Best left to their own devices with only occasional steering (example: Leonardo da Vinci)
