Seeds and Spring

The seeds are ordered. Lots of experiments this year since I have never gardened on my own before. I did have input and did a lot of weeding in my parents' garden, but I have never owned or rented a piece of earth of my own. I also had a flower garden when I was quite young, mostly transplanted wildflowers. I wonder some of them are still there. Probably not. I should also do some ordering of wildflower and grass seed. I need to establish some buffalo grass in my front yard.

Things other than bulbs tend not to grow for me, although I did once grow a dahlia from seed.

Will you be getting bulbs in the fall?

Yes, I plan on gettin saffron and garlic among other bulbs. Though also blue flag iris, crocuses, and daphodills. If I can I hope to do all flowers of two colors during a blooming time so that things will look... posh. If there were more red spring flowers I would plant all red and white, but I think that is not realistic. Perhaps all yellow and blue for spring.

Going to get some Roses? I'm growing some Rose of my own. (HA!)

Been thinking about trying to set up some gardening at our place as well... be nice to have some veg on the vine...
