Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale

If you like highly alcoholic beers with intense hops, then you'll probably like this. I don't. I had it at the Freehold Thanksgiving tonight. It wasn't a bad beer, it just isn't to my taste at all. It is like a cross between an IPA and an ale.

Freehold was good. There were many good conversations. I loved talking about the history of clothing and vampire books amoung other things. Wished Richie was here repeatedly. The conversation was good enough that I didn't miss having him to talk with, but it would have been nice to have his hotness sitting next to me.

Sierra Nevada, you say? I've never even seen it, and I doubt that it's available here (though you never know), but I'll have to remember to look for it the next time I'm Stateside to give it a try.

Wished Richie was here repeatedly.

Awwww. Excuse me while I go and inject some insulin. :P

Would saying that I missed making out with him make it any better?

Wait...what's Freehold?

My friends tend to have our own celebrations after the family type holidays are done. There's Thanksgiving, and then there is Freehold Thanksgiving. Christmas, then the Saturday after there is Freehold Christmas. Basically just our name for all friends holidays rather than all family holidays.

Oh cool! :)

Freehold etymology

Yeah, that's the short'n'simple explanation. Going into the derivation of why it's called Freehold is not short. :)
