Thank all the Geek Gods

I feel atrocious today. Staying home has not helped yet. I've been resting and writing on and off all day, yet my cough and general feeling is getting worse. Maybe I should see a doctor, this would be my first time in over three years to feel bad enough to see a doctor for an illness. Thank all the geek gods that I decided to stay home today.

The Geek Gods
Great Google- The God of knowledge and mysterious pronouncements. He is the second brain for anyone wishing to know about pretty much anything.

Asphaltia- Goddess of Squat, find for us a parking spot. Not totally a geek god, as she's also prayed to by non-geeks. But she's very cool for anyone having to find a place to park a car near a convention.

Obscureius- God of quotes and strange references. Hates Great Ghoogle who makes it too easy to get his secret knowledge.

The Engineer- God of bloody-minded competence and those of the Jeremiah Johnson self-reliance mentality.

I spent a week feeling generally low-energy and coughing, and then finally went to my doctor, who said "bronchitis" and put me on antibiotics. And I wish I'd gone sooner.

I appear to be slowly getting better today. I am very hopeful.
