What My Parents did 37 Years Ago

For some reason I finally decided to count back nine months from when I was born. Well, actually, 40 weeks to be precise. July 6th, 1976. Huh. Not exactly born on the 4th of July, but given the uncertainty in human gestation I find that interesting. I wonder if I wrote to my parents and asked what they did for the bicentennial if it would be awkward or amusing.
