Dry Climate Woes

The wood box I purchased in Hawaii is warping a bit. I think I need to oil it. Websearching turns up a lot of different opinions, but it seems safe to go with a light colored natural oil, like almond oil, that does not have a reputation for discoloring. My only other thought would be to try refined jojoba oil as it has a reputation for being more shelf stable and having no color at all.
Almost the end of the year. I'm mildly sick today, I hope I'll be well in time for Mercedonius.
