I, rmoorman, by the power vested in me by the granfalloon of the Ministry of Pre-Legitimate Semantic Repurposiveness, do hereby recommend that:
The noun "frood" be used to replace the word "acquaintance", especially when a lightweight friendship is conducted in 'real life' (that is, somewhere besides LiveJournal).
The noun "frelj" be used to indicate "somebody on my LiveJournal friends list".
Examples:
"I would like to befrood the cute man. Ohhhh, yes I would!" "If you can't stand his comments, just unfrelj the twerp." "I wish she would stop behaving so froodily until we've been introduced." "How he actually keeps up with three hundred and twelve freljs is quite beyond me." "Froody? Him? Ha! *Completely* towel-clueless!" "I'd like to enfrelj her, but I'm afraid to get sucked into the drama." "You know, there must be a million people I'd enfrelj who I wouldn't befrood at all!"
