Fire has to happen sometime, it is the only thing that renews the forest. If not now then later, so I don't see these two Colorado fires as a bad thing. Especially given how they started (both accidents due to the wind and power lines) and how little destruction or loss of human life there was with them. The one down south of town only destroyed a few out buildings on the Cherokee Ranch and served as a wake up call to all the people living in the woods down there. Hopefully they will heed the warning and spend some treasure cutting down trees around their houses.
