The Ethical Pulse Pistol Slinger
Jul. 28th, 2003 12:19 pmI'm thinking of ordering a Pulse Pistol kit today. If I do I might just have it in time for Bubonicon. The thing is that I'm reluctant to do so since the ones I'm looking at are not authorized props and therefore it's morally questionable. The thing is that the Creation licensed props cost over $300 and they don't even have the features of lights or what have you of the illegal kits. Even the most expensive option with the removable cartage and the LEDs on the Strike Team site only costs $185 and the pistol kit on Dreamland only costs $70 if I wanted to go cheap. And I suspect I could put electronics in the unfinished item if I wanted to.
The other thing that worries me is that being fly by night operations, one wonders if they'll be around longer than it takes to accept a payment. Gah, why can't entertainment companies offer reasonably priced memorabilia?
